I have been a Nurse for 15 years, I currently also work part time as a Critical Care Nurse In the Post Anesthesia Care Unit at Kaiser, I have worked in various other areas of nursing with one of my favorites as an instructor at SRJC in their LVN Program, I love to teach in all aspects of health care not only as an instructor but as a health care provider as well to my patients and clients. Prior to becoming a Nurse I worked in Cosmetic Dentistry for many years, this not only gave me a love for cosmetics in health but also helped to give me a keen eye for detail, as well as learn facial landmarks and symmetry. I have been injecting neurotoxins for over 10 years. I have also administered various types of fillers for facial symmetry in the lips and cheek area. One of my passions is Medical weight loss management with the use of Semiglutides and Trizepitides. I have seen first hand the fabulous weight loss results and health benefits that can be obtained with the proper use and management of these medications. After working closely with an Endocrinologist over the past 3 years assisting clients to obtain, as well as maintain their weight loss goals I truly believe it really does work!
Dr. Bharat Kothakota is a distinguished board-certified Emergency Physician with over a decade of experience, showcasing a profound commitment to healthcare. With a background spanning a decade in Emergency Medicine, he has served as a Medical Director for both the Emergency Department and a Concierge Practice, amassing over six years of leadership expertise.
In the realm of Aesthetic Medicine, Dr. Kothakota has dedicated five years to honing his skills. As the Owner and Medical Director of a thriving Medical Spa in Santa Monica since 2021, he has become a prominent figure in the aesthetics community.
His aesthetic journey is marked by extensive training and certifications, notably in Botox and Fillers. Dr. Kothakota has undergone advanced training with industry leaders such as Allergan and Galderma. Proficient in cutting-edge technologies, he excels in Morpheus 8 and Morpheus body treatments, showcasing a high level of expertise. His proficiency extends to InMode's Morpheus 8, Morpheus body, Evolve, and Lumecca IPL.
Dr. Kothakota has established his practice as one of the leading Coolsculpting centers on the Westside of Los Angeles, with extensive training from Allergan. His skills also encompass various aesthetic procedures, including Clear and Brilliant, Microneedling, PRP Hair Restoration, and PRP tear trough.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Kothakota is an innovator. He has developed a physician-supervised weight loss program in collaboration with Mounjaro and Ozempic, currently benefiting over 40 enrolled patients.
Currently, he serves as the Medical Director and Owner of Self Care LA, spearheading its growth and success. Additionally, he holds the position of Medical Director at Beyond Harmony, showcasing his leadership in diverse medical settings.
